A couple of weeks ago we got to start on the summer wish list line item about making ice cream and popsicles. This time we used one of the many recipes from my frozen confections board on Pinterest, the one for strawberry lime popsicles.
Both kids heartily approved of the recipe.
L4 picked out the mold (we have two sets of BPA-free popsicle molds), declaring she wanted to make “rocket popsicles!”
The kids were good sports about pictures of them eating their tasty frozen treats as long as they could keep on eating them.
And because they’re siblings, and even though they each had their own, here’s them eyeing each other’s as well. 
Extra Details:
- The recipe made 6 rocket popsicles plus two other of a different shape.
- We froze them for about 4 hours and they were perfect.
- I blended everything in my Ninja food processor (my new favorite kitchen tool!) so there weren’t really a lot of big strawberry chunks in these.
- They were creamy and delicious!
